The Progressive Era consisted of big changes politically, economically, and socially. This era helped address the United States problems with the help of the Kodak camera.

During the Progressive Era, the Kodak camera impacted protesting movements, like Women's rights. These photos were used to get the attention of the people to be aware of what big problems were happening.
Many women protested for their rights and some were arrested. One of the biggest problems that rose these protests was the Triangle Shirtwaist Factor Fire in 1911.
